Hello, my friends! Good morning to you all! This is the 132nd smoothie and because of my theme “The Valley of God” for this week, I call this “Dawn in the Valley of Go But that’s for my theme. Name it whatever you think fits the theme and I will mention you on my blog.
I share with you my prayer for all of us suffering from natural disasters, man-made wars, depression, & children that are abused and hungry.
I pray that the Lord will strengthen you in times of fear; when life shatters you and you feel weak in the knees that you can’t stand to fight back. I pray that you may see the light and understand that suffering is not forever. That when you are lonely God will send you more angels. When you are lonely, that you may find a good companion and when you are sick you will find healing. That when all hope is lost you will see a glimmer. And that you will have the strength to hang on for the better. I pray that when you find that light you will have the courage to move forward; to never get tired of walking towards that light until you reach your destination. I pray that when evil tempts you with lust and anger, you may find refuge in your family’s love and when vengeance poisons your heart may you find comfort in forgiveness. And when you are unaware that the devil is tempting you with gold and riches, I pray that you will find God’s love to heal all your weakness. And when the time comes that you feel like giving up on life, I pray that God’s angels will appear and never leave your side. When you are so down and weary that sorrow kills you and you do not know what else to do, I pray that you pray to God to finally give you, your heart’s sincerest desires. I also pray that when the devil himself tries to overpower your heart, mind, and body, that God sends the strongest angels to protect you. I pray for those of the purest hearts that wherever they tread love, light, and trust will follow. I pray that leaders will finally realize their true responsibility: it’s not to accumulate wealth, commit genocide, nor be famous and greedy. That people with influence who use their power to manipulate the unaware and the busy will be enlightened. I pray that people will understand that the devil is not to be confused with God. Because they are not one nor can they ever be the same. I pray that when you are in your darkest hour and all the light goes out, a million more appears. Most of all, I pray that we will be forgiven for all the sins and corruption we have committed against the Earth and one another and against God Himself/Herself. Amen.
About this bowl my friends, this is the second part and a closer look at the Valley of God series I am making. I hope you see my posts every day. I utilize fruits, herbs, and spices to create imagery. I hope this inspires you and makes you think about the most important aspects of being human and our short human life.
I also want you to know that the fruits you see on the toppings are also underneath the yogurt smoothie. I put them on top of the oats whenever my themes are imagery. look out for the videos I am making this winter.
My apologies for being so busy and not being able to answer your emails and DMs lately. It is summer and the last part of it is the most beautiful that’s why we are always out in the woods. I don’t waste my ingredients because I am fully aware that children all over the world are suffering from hunger. I think about them every day and I also pray for them. I hope that you do the same. We are all busy with life and paying bills but let’s not forget the most essential part of being human: LOVE. Namaste.
7-inch diameter bowl
1 wooden stick
2 ramekins (for serving fruits, seeds, & nuts)
2 cups honey melon
16 oz organic yogurt
1/2 cup raw honey (optional)
1/2 cup Nature’s Path Organic Oats
Put 1 cup of cereals/oats in the bowl and level to make the surface even. Blend melon, and yogurt in a blender until fully combined. Add the honey while the blender is running. This will prevent the honey from getting stuck on the bottom of the blender. Pour the mango-melon smoothie in a circular motion on top of the cereals/oats. This will prevent the cereals/oats from floating to the surface of the smoothie and create a flat canvas for design.
5 green/white grapes
1 tsp moringa powder
1 tbsp greek yogurt
Place grapes on the yogurt and make a mountain shape you like. Mix moringa powder and yogurt in a mixing bowl until you achieve your desired green color/s. Top the grape mountain with it to create an illusion of texture and shadows.
1 tbsp Butterfly pea concentrate
3 tbsp greek yogurt
1/2 tsp sunflower seeds (as many as you need)
1 tsp mixed grains (white chia, barley, millet, quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat, etc)
Mix the butterfly pea and yogurt to create sky blue and periwinkle colors. Form a river flowing from the foot of the gem mountain. decorate the side with mixed ancient seeds and grains.
1/4 tsp beet root powder
1/4 tsp moringa powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp greek yogurt (for each color)
Mix each color with yogurt until you reach your desired color and consistency. Use a toothpick or a stick to put the dots on the right and the left side of the Blue River.
Blue and Dark Sky
1 tsp butterfly pea concentrate (or use the mixture for the Blue River)
1/8 tsp extra fine food grade charcoal powder
1 tbsp greek yogurt (for each color)
Mix the charcoal powder with the yogurt until you reach your desired color and consistency. Add more charcoal for a darker shade and add less for a grey shade.
Mexican apple mango variety
1 tbsp yogurt
Use a round cookie cutter to cut perfect mango circle. Cut the circle into two and place on the right side of the Gem Mountain to create a rising sun image. Mix the turmeric powder and the yogurt until you reach a golden yellow color. Use less for lighter yellow shade. use a toothpick or a stick to create the sun’s rays.
When you are done with the smoothies refrigerate the rest of the left overs of the next day’s smoothie art. #zerowaste
After taking photos cut the left over fruits and add some other fruits you like and place in one bowl or 2 ramekins. You need nuts, grains, and fruits high in vitamins C, A, D, K etcetera or whatever you have. Serve with the smoothie. Enjoy!
